Who are Niraharis?

Niraharis are the people who live without food, beyond the bondages of food patterns.
(Nithyananda) Niraharis are people trained and initiated by the rare living Incarnation & Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda to live without food. More importantly, Niraharis are those who have successfully broken the pattern of eating and all the patterns associated with consuming food which can range from physical conditions like obesity to mental conditions like depression, and condition in between.

A Nirahari’s source of energy is the “Prana shakti” aka life force energy from air around us and the sun energy, and with trust in the Masters’s Deeksha, the power of initiation, the trasmission of energy from an Incarnation, who is the source of Cosmic Energy. When you explore this site, you will see those who have adopted this lifestyle are regular people – doctors, engineers, entreprenuers, home makers etc and not monks living in seclusion. In other words, the Nirahara process, when done with integrity and authenticity is the most effortless, natural process, which brings intense energy and reasonless excitement to your life to explode into our peak capacities.

(Nithyananda) Niraharis run the movement called B*FOOD*FREE which raises awareness among people to overcome their heavy dependence on food by participating in the Nirahara programs (link). None of us woke up one morning and suddenly decided we would give up food. No! Had we done that, we would be dead for a long time now.

We have learned through experience and deep meditation processes with our Master, that living without food is the gateway to breaking many negative, stubborn patterns we carry within our bodies and minds for years and understanding that these patterns are more often than not the root cause of disease.

We Niraharis are witness to the fact that this lifestyle automatically makes us live in a high state of awareness and helps us evolve into higher levels of consciousness. So, living without food is not about flaunting a power; atleast, the way  our Master has trained  us, we feel we have simply become more blissful, gentle and highly creative beings. As a result, we radiate the energy of bliss to the environments we live in.

To put it simply, we are ordinary people on an extraordinary path; the journey itself is easier than cooking!

Thanks to an incomparable teacher.
